Vacancies & Opportunities

Vocations Explained

The Church has a whole host of vacancies and opportunities – but they don’t get advertised in the usual way. The Church is not so much interested in recruitment as discernment: along which particular path is God asking me to journey?

This question is crucial, because, as Christians, we believe that it is God who knows us best and God who wants what’s best for us. God loves us more than we can even begin to glimpse in this life. Another way of asking the same question, though, is: “What sort of person do I really want to be?” God reveals Himself to us in our deepest desires but it’s often a lifelong adventure, digging around and hunting underneath all those other surface desires, trying to discover what it is that I’m really seeking.

This website is an aid to help you answer these questions. It will require from you openness, honesty and prayer. Do not be afraid to ask the Lord what He has in mind for you; do not be afraid to ask Him to help you discover what sort of person you really desire to be…
